Mr. Sangwoo Park has served as the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport of the Republic of Korea since December 2023. He has extensive experience in public service, particularly in national land policy, infrastructure, and housing. His previous roles include CEO of Korea Land & Housing Corporation (2016–2019), President of the Korea Research Institute for Construction Policy (2015–2016), and Deputy Minister positions at the Ministry for both Planning and Coordination and Housing and Land. Mr. Park began his public service career in 1983 and has since contributed to a wide range of national development initiatives. He holds a Ph.D. in Urban Planning from Gachon University, a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from George Washington University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration from Korea University.
