Taeyoon Park

Taeyoon Park is an Associate Research Fellow at the Korea Transport Institute (KOTI), a government-funded research institute operating under the Office for Government Policy Coordination of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Korea. His work focuses on advancing inclusive and sustainable urban and metropolitan transport systems in Korea, with particular expertise in policy development, strategic transport planning, and mobility innovation.

Park’s research spans a wide range of areas, including transport policies for people with mobility limitations, metropolitan transport planning for aging planned cities, the establishment of integrated transfer systems, and the formulation of national design standards for mobility hubs. He is currently involved in several national R&D and planning initiatives that aim to build more equitable, accessible, and connected mobility systems across the country.

He holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from Seoul National University. In recognition of his contributions to public policy and research, he has received the Certificate of Excellence for Public Service from the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT), as well as the Award for Excellence in Policy Contribution from the National Research Council for Economics, Humanities and Social Sciences.
