Stanisław Bukowiec served as a Member of the 9th term of the Polish Parliament (Sejm), where he was a member of several key committees, including the Public Finance Committee, the Committee on Environmental Protection, Natural Resources and Forestry, and the National Defence Committee. He also held the position of Secretary of the Parliamentary Team for Transport Solutions in the Małopolska Region and served as Deputy Chair of the Parliamentary Team for the Protection of the Upper Vistula River Basin.

He has extensive experience in local government. From 2018 to 2019, he was a councillor of the Małopolska Regional Assembly; from 2011 to 2015, Deputy Mayor of the Bochnia Municipality; and from 2002 to 2005, Deputy Mayor of the Town of Bochnia.
