Sara Elkady is passionate about building businesses, learning about new technologies, and connecting with people. Her professional journey began as a Graduate Teacher Assistant in Electrical Power Engineering & Computer Control, followed by joining Siemens Egypt through the Siemens Graduate Program. At Siemens AG headquarters, Sara took on product and project responsibilities, leading a diverse international team. Her career has spanned various roles in Business Development, Product/Portfolio/Process/Pricing Management working with multiple regions.

After over a decade of her career in Siemens Digital Industries, Sara joined Siemens Mobility and led the Customer Services Business in the Middle East and Africa region for several years. She was one of the key negotiators of the Egypt Railway Big Deal, winning one of Siemens’ largest contracts: the 2000km High-Speed Rail Network in Egypt.

Since 2023, Sara is the SVP of Strategy, Digitalization and Technology at Siemens Mobility. She continues to pursue her passion for learning about and utilizing the best technologies to address pressing customer needs, while developing people and connecting the dots wherever possible. Empowering young leaders and female engineers have been consistent elements of her dedication. Sara is a very experienced and well-recognized public speaker at international fairs and conferences.
