Andrés Pizarro is currently the Manager for the Public Sector Client Department covering Southeast Asia and the Pacific, South Asia, and Sub-Saharan Africa in AIIB.
Prior to working in AIIB, Andres Pizarro was an academic; he ran the Urban Planning Department in a university and taught transport policy and planning, urban economics and spatial planning. Before then, he was Lead Transportation Specialist at the World Bank, where he worked in Latin America and South Asia. Earlier in his career he worked as transport specialist in EGIS International (previously BCEOM).
Andres Pizarro has worked in all continents and in 40 countries in all transport sub-sectors and in policy, planning and engineering.
