Thaynara Silva is a Transport Economist and Climate Resilience Expert who specializes in analyzing the economic impacts of climate adaptation strategies and developing cost-benefit assessment tools for various climate scenarios. With four years of experience as an Economist at SNCF Réseau conducting socioeconomic studies, and previous work at TGV focusing on market access and competition preparedness, she actively contributes to expert networks addressing sustainable mobility and climate resilience in the rail industry. Her educational background combines Environmental Engineering from the Polytechnic School of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) with Master’s degrees in Sustainable Technology from KTH (Sweden) and Transportation Economics from a consortium of prestigious French institutions (École Polytechnique, École des Ponts, and École des Mines ParisTech).
