The tour departs 14:45 from the main entrance in front of the Congress Center Leipzig/CCL and returns back to CCL
The Amazon Leipzig “LEJ1” logistic centre was opened in 2006. The size of 75,000 m² of storage space corresponds to 11 soccer fields, in which an investment of 6 million euros was made in modern warehouse logistics. LEJ1 is a non-sortable location. Bulky or large items such as garden tools, outdoor equipment or carpets are stored in these buildings. Special forklifts and other tools help our employees to prepare the orders for shipping. Two apprenticeships are offered at the site: Mechatronics technician and IT specialist for system integration.
