Organisers: Rolls-Royce & BP
Aviation underpins global trade, but GHG emissions are rising. Decarbonising aviation will require the global provision and use of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
To succeed, the world will need a huge ramp-up in SAF production and accelerated deployment of eco-systems in every country that welcomes aviation, offering the potential to unlock innovation and job creation for local communities.
Collaborative alliances across industry and governments and the creation and deployment of new business models are already providing examples of how new SAF ecosystems can work.
What can we learn and replicate from these models, and how can they be sustainably financed to scale up and deploy around the world for affordable, resilient flight?
