The Transport Ministers of Germany and Switzerland, together with other interested ministries, emphasise that digital automatic coupling (DAC) is the core component for the automation and digitalisation of rail freight transport and that it is decisive in making rail freight transport ready for the future. Let’s talk about it!

Why do we need DAC? Why does it need a joint effort? What exactly do we need to make DAC successful?

The Ministers will discuss these questions with invited high-level representatives from the EU and other countries, as well as stakeholders from the sector. Media representatives are also cordially invited to take part in the event.
