Organiser: UN Road Safety Fund
Morocco’s Minister of Transport Mohammed Abdeljalil and UN Secretary-General’s Special Envoy for Road Safety Jean Todt will launch “Road to Morocco”, a call to support the UN Road Safety Fund (UNRSF) Pledging Forum at the upcoming 4th Global Ministerial Conference on Road Safety in Morocco in February 2025. The financial target of at least USD 30 million will ensure the UNRSF’s continued support for government actions that reduce the death toll on the world’s roads until 2030. The media briefing will also delve into successful road safety strategies and results from the UNRSF’s 2023 Annual Report, “Staying the Course, Building Government Capacities”.
