Registrations can be completed onsite at the Congress Center Leipzig from Tuesday 23 May.

Registration fees and payment

Registration fees

  • Student (on-site registration only)* 50 EUR

    * Student discount is valid upon presentation of the Student ID card.

  • Participant (early bird – until 23 April) 700 EUR
  • Participant (online registration - until 19 May) 980 EUR
  • Participant (on-site registration - full price) 1400 EUR
  • Participant (reduced fee)** 700 EUR

    ** A reduced registration fee is applicable to public bodies, academia, research institutes, intergovernmental or non-profit non-governmental organisations, and additional (extra-quota) registrations from the following categories: exhibitors, sponsors, side event organisers and technical tour providers.

  • Group registration (5 participants or more registered at the same time) 420 EUR per participant

We only accept payments by credit card or PayPal. On exceptional basis, official delegation could request bank transfer for the Summit and technical tours fees.

Official delegations

Who can register as an official delegate?

Members of Official Delegations are nominated by Transport Ministries. Your country’s representative to the Transport Management Board (TMB) is responsible for coordinating the official delegation.

Login details for online registration are allocated by your ministry’s official. If you do not have login details, please contact your country’s representative to the Transport Management Board (TMB).

Payment options

Please note that payment for technical and cultural tours, registration fees for accompanying persons or additional members of the delegation (420 euros) can be made by credit card or PayPal. On an exceptional basis, invoices can be requested at the end of your registration. Please note that your registration will only be completed once payment is received.

Group registrations

A package discount is offered for groups of five or more registrations.

The total fee for a group registration must be made in a single payment; once the payment has been received, login details will be issued so that each member of the group can complete their registration online.

Student Fee

Students are invited to attend sessions of the Summit (including lunch). Registration is only available on-site and valid student identification will be requested.

On-site student fee: 50 EUR

To attend the Presidency Reception and/or the Gala Dinner evening, please indicate this during registration.

An additional fee of 25 EUR per technical tour will apply.

Accompanying Person Fee

Accompanying persons are considered to be spouses or partners who are travelling with you. Accompanying persons are able to join their partners at networking events such as the Presidency Reception, Gala Dinner, and Leipzig bicycle and walking tours (may incur an additional fee).

An additional fee of 25 EUR per technical tour will apply.

Access to the conference centre is not available during the day, i.e. for sessions and off site tours to industrial facilities.

Registration fee for accompanying persons: 420 EUR

Persons accompanying a delegate in a supporting/advisory capacity who require access to Summit sessions and/or technical tours must complete a separate registration. Registration fees will apply accordingly.

Who attends?

Over 1 000 participants from 80 countries attended last year’s Summit.

What does my registration fee cover?

Registration to the Summit covers:

  • The three-day event, including attendance at plenary and panel sessions, and the annex programme.

  • Networking opportunities, the Presidency Reception and the Gala Dinner, including meals.

  • The bicycle tour with the Mayor of Leipzig.

  • Unlimited free public transport within Leipzig City.

Do I have to register for the entire event even if I only want to attend for one day?

Yes, even if you plan to attend only parts of the Summit activities, you will need to register for the whole event.

Who can accompany me?

Accompanying persons are considered to be spouses/partners who are travelling with you.

Can I re-enter the online registration portal to change the details of my registration?

Once your registration has been submitted, please contact the Registration Help Desk at info@itf-leipzig.com for any changes.

How do I collect my Summit participant badge?

Badges are available for collection at the Summit Registration Desk from 23 May 2023 at the  Congress Center Leipzig. Please note that a valid photo ID is required to collect your badge.

Accommodation

To book your accommodation in one of the official Summit Hotels, please follow the dedicated accommodation page. Please note that you will need to enter your credit card details to guarantee your booking. However, the final payment should be settled during check-in or check-out directly at the hotel.  Any specific accessibility needs can be indicated during your booking.

Shuttle bus services

We will offer dedicated coaches from the official hotels to the Summit venue in the morning, and also from the Summit venue to the official hotels at the end of the programme.

Visa Letter Assistance

We provide visa support to the participants who require visa applications to attend the event. Please follow the visa letter page to apply for your visa letter.
