Conrad Clifford
Conrad Clifford is the Deputy Director General and Corporate Secretary at the International Air Transport Association (IATA). Prior to this he was Regional Vice President, Asia Pacific for IATA, based in the Singapore Regional Office. He is responsible for IATA’s advocacy programs and campaigns globally and for the management of IATA’s activities through five regional teams who work to deliver IATA’s strategy and goals for member airlines. Conrad has a career in aviation spanning almost 40 years. He has CEO’d a startup, a domestic, a regional and an international carrier. He has an intimate knowledge of top brand carriers having worked for Cathay Pacific, Virgin Atlantic and Emirates. Conrad has lived and worked in Asia, Africa and Europe and has a broad and in-depth knowledge of strategy and business planning, pricing and revenue management and airport operations. Conrad is a graduate of Cambridge University (MA Hons) and further holds an MBA from Durham University Business School
