Michael Tse

Michael is a transportation expert with over 15 years of solid experience in the railway industry. Joining MTR Corporation in 2007, Michael experienced the burgeoning growth of the company into a globally recognized and reputable company with caring, innovative, and sustainable service. The company currently operates over 3,500km of route length and carried over 3.2 billion passengers in 2022 worldwide in Hong Kong, Mainland China, Australia, the UK and Sweden. Being the Chief Corporate Strategy Manager of the company, Michael led and supported the recent corporate strategy review with long-term goals set forth to transform the future, aiming to continue providing customer-centric service, sustainable mobility solutions, achieve long-term sustainability of the rail business and much more. Prior to taking up this role, Michael was the Transformation Lead – Finance of the company and spearheaded initiatives on financial and investment enablers. Michael also spent over ten years assuming pivotal positions and gained all-rounded exposure in the company’s Railway and Property Business Units as well as Finance Function. Michael is a Fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants and holds a Master’s degree in social science from the University of Hong Kong.
