Paul Supawanich serves as the Director of Programs for the Global Designing Cities Initiative. He oversees the organisation's programatic efforts to promote safe, equitable and sustainable public space and street design around the world. He brings more than a decade of experience working with cities and transit agencies across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Australia/New Zealand to improve transportation outcomes around livability, jobs access and safety.

Locally, his commitment to transportation is reflected through past volunteer efforts with both the San Francisco Pedestrian Safety Advisory Committee and San Francisco Bicycle Coalition Board. Paul received his Bachelors in Industrial Engineering from Georgia Tech and Masters Degree in City Planning and Transportation Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
