About the Summit

About #ITFSummit

The ITF Annual Summit is the world's largest gathering of transport ministers and the premier global transport policy event.

Since 2008, ministers from ITF’s 69 member countries, heads of international organisations, parliamentarians, and leaders in industry and academia have met annually during the 2.5-day Summit to discuss the future of transport and mobility through the prism of a strategic topic of global importance.

The 2026 theme, "#FundingResilientTransport", is the second in the 2025-2027 ITF Summit trilogy on transport resilience. This year's Summit will explore ways to mobilise the investments and financing strategies needed to strengthen the resilience of transport systems for better long-term connectivity, efficiency, and reliability in transport infrastructure and operations.

Invitation from the Presidency of Azerbaijan

Every May, the ITF Annual Summit is held under the Presidency of one of ITF's 69 member countries.

The Minister of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Rashad Nabiyev, warmly invites you to join the ITF 2026 Summit under the Presidency of Azerbaijan.

During the Summit, the Republic of Azerbaijan will host a Presidency Reception on Wednesday 6 May for all participants—its initiatives will also be platformed at the Summit Expo and throughout the programme.
