The Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking (EU-Rail) is the European public-private partnership for rail research and innovation under the Horizon Europe programme (2020–2027). EU-Rail aims to enable an integrated European rail network for passengers and freight, supporting EU policy targets by improving performance and competitiveness, while accelerating the transition towards the Single European Railway Area (SERA).
It mobilises Europe’s best scientific and industrial resources to bridge research and deployment, transforming strategic objectives into interoperable and standardised solutions.
