The Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of the Republic of Azerbaijan is a pivotal government body responsible for leading the nation’s digital transformation and the development of transport and transport infrastructure. Through the modernisation and digitalisation of transport systems and infrastructure, the Government aims to ensure the sustainability, resilience, and efficiency of Azerbaijan’s national and regional transport networks.
Key initiatives include a comprehensive transport mobility programme focused on improving urban mobility, accessibility, and multimodal connectivity, alongside targeted measures to green the transport sector by reducing emissions and promoting environmentally sustainable practices. In parallel, Azerbaijan places strategic emphasis on the development of international transport corridors—most notably the Middle Corridor—enhancing East–West connectivity, strengthening supply chain resilience, and reinforcing the country’s role as a regional transport and logistics hub.
Through these efforts, Azerbaijan is committed to building a modern, digitally enabled, sustainable, and future-ready transport system.
