Experience the Future of Traffic Safety with Autobahn GmbH
As one of Europe’s largest infrastructure operators, Autobahn GmbH is responsible for the management of Germany’s 13,200-kilometer motorway network, encompassing planning, construction, and advanced traffic management. To further enhance road safety, the company is actively developing Cooperative Intelligent Transport Systems (C-ITS). This technology enables seamless communication between vehicles, service providers, and the infrastructure itself, creating a smarter and safer driving environment for everyone.
As part of the International Transport Forum (ITF) 2026 in Leipzig, Autobahn GmbH offers exclusive C-ITS demonstration rides on the A14. On May 6 and 7, visitors can experience firsthand how C-ITS improves safety through realistic scenarios, such as warnings for roadworks and maintenance vehicles. Each demo ride lasts approximately 10 to 15 minutes. Registration will take place at the Autobahn exhibition at the booth of the German ministry booth.
