Monika Starecka assumed the position of Chief Financial Officer at PKP S.A. on April 18, 2024, and joined the Supervisory Board of PKP Cargo.
From 2019 to April 2024, she served as Chief Financial Officer at Szybka Kolej Miejska sp. z o.o., based in Warsaw, where she supervised accounting, controlling, and the acquisition and settlement of EU funds. She participated in initiatives aimed at improving the company’s efficiency and supporting its development. On January 30, 2024, she was appointed to the Supervisory Board of ENEA S.A. From February 2, 2024, she was delegated as a Supervisory Board member to temporarily perform the duties of President of the Management Board of ENEA S.A., and from March 1, 2024, to April 30, 2024, she was delegated to temporarily perform the duties of Member of the Management Board for Corporate Affairs at ENEA S.A.
Since 2019, she has been running her own advisory firm, Equinox Consulting, specializing in financial and operational consulting, as well as providing training in soft skills and coaching and mentoring sessions for entrepreneurs and members of company management boards.
Since 2003, she has been a certified statutory auditor. She also holds an International Coach certification from ICC (International Coaching Community). She graduated with a master’s degree from the Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw, completed postgraduate studies in Human Resource Management at Jagiellonian University, and the Advanced Leadership and Management Programme at the University of Oxford.
