Véronique Andriès has 24 Years Railways experience. Skilled in Sustainability, CSR, EGS, Transition Plan, Due Diligence, Ecodesign, Circular Economy, Environmental & Health topics, Energy efficiency, Emissions & Air Quality; Materials and Life Cycle Assessment. She is VP Sustainability & CSR for ALSTOM Group. With her team she is in charge of : CSR Strategy definition & coordination with functions, PLs & Regions ; Carbon, Environmental & Social Transformation ; Local communities programs ; Human Rights risk management and ESG Reporting and communication.
she was previously Ecodesign Director at Alstom, where she defined the company strategy, objectives and workplan for environmental performances improvement of the group solutions. She took care about Alstom units ecodesign objective alignment, key programs environmental objectives and group referential.
She was also in charge of the coordination of Core Competency Networks (CCN) , she ensured alignment of the 34 CCNs practices and road map, developed the networks efficiency and visibility and managed budget & steering committees.
Veronique promotes and defends Railways sector interests being, UNIFE Sustainable Transport Committee Chairwoman as well as member of various standardization committee (EN/CLC ECO-CG (Ecodesign coordination Group); Member of ISO TC WG (ISO/TC 269/WG4); AFNOR Comité Electrotechnique Français UF111 …..).
She holds a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Lille (North France) and has studied asbestos end of life treatment within a post doctorate position with FAPESP (SP-Brazil)
