Yoonyoung Hwang is the Executive Vice President and Head of Legal and Public Affairs at Kakao Mobility Corp. He leads the company’s strategic external relations, regulatory affairs, and compliance management, playing a critical role in shaping the business strategies of Korea’s leading mobility platform.
Since joining Kakao Mobility in 2018, Mr. Hwang has been a key architect of its governance and regulatory frameworks, integrating legal expertise with strategic public policy. Prior to his current role, he served as a Partner at Yulchon LLC, where he spent nearly a decade specializing in corporate and finance law.
Mr. Hwang holds a Bachelor of Laws from Korea University and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from New York University School of Law
