Stan Zurkiewicz is the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Chairman of the Board of Management of DEKRA e.V. and DEKRA SE, a role he has held since April 2022.
A Polish-born executive with deep international experience, Mr. Zurkiewicz has spent close to two decades shaping DEKRA’s global operations across Europe and Asia. Before becoming CEO, Mr. Zurkiewicz served as Chief Operating Officer (COO) responsible for the company’s six global regions, operations, and sales. His prior positions at DEKRA included Executive Vice President - East & South Asia, and Chairman of the Management Board - Greater China.
Mr. Zurkiewicz began his career at ABB and later KEMA Quality before joining DEKRA through acquisition of the company. His academic background includes a Master of Arts in Management from the University of St Andrews, and an Executive MBA from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS).
Known for his global leadership perspective, strategic focus on safety, security, and sustainability, Mr. Zurkiewicz brings a forward-looking, dynamic leadership style to DEKRA’s transformation and growth.
