Ozay Ozaydin is an Assistant Professor of Industrial Engineering at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa, where his work focuses on the intersection of digital transformation and transport infrastructure resilience. He is the vice-chair responsible for Publications at World Conference on Transportation Research Society (WCTRS). With a strong background in supply chain and operations management, his research explores how advanced digital tools, such as real-time visibility networks and Transportation Management Systems, can mitigate operational disruptions in global freight networks. His methodological expertise bridges qualitative industry insights and quantitative decision-support modeling, specifically through multi-criteria decision analysis, such as the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). Recently, he has focused on developing strategic, multidimensional frameworks that help policymakers and senior-level practitioners align technological investments with robust infrastructure resilience goals. Holding a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, he is dedicated to bridging the gap between academic research and actionable policy, aiming to build more adaptable, integrated, and resilient global mobility systems.
