Joohwa Sarah Lee is Managing Director Europe at AUTOCRYPT Technologies GmbH, where she leads global business development for automotive cybersecurity solutions supporting the next generation of connected and software-defined mobility. Based in Germany, she works with vehicle manufacturers, mobility technology companies, and public institutions to strengthen the security and resilience of increasingly digitalized transport systems. Her work focuses on cybersecurity infrastructures that underpin trusted connected mobility, including vehicle public key infrastructure (PKI), V2X security, and vehicle security monitoring systems. These technologies play a critical role in enabling connected vehicles and intelligent transport services to operate securely while aligning with evolving regulatory frameworks. Through collaboration with global industry partners and public stakeholders, she contributes to advancing security architectures that support resilient and interoperable digital transport ecosystems. Prior to joining AUTOCRYPT, Joohwa spent more than a decade at Audi AG in various engineering and certification roles in vehicle development, working at the intersection of engineering implementation and regulatory requirements. She studied Computer Science and Engineering at ETH Zurich and pursued doctoral studies in Mechanical Engineering at the Technical University of Munich. She is also a frequent speaker at international cybersecurity and mobility conferences.
