Laurianne Krid

European Cyclists’ Federation

CEO

Laurianne Krid has been the CEO of the European Cyclists’ Federation (ECF)since 1 September 2025, advocating for more and better cycling for all across Europe. A truly multimodal citizen, she brings extensive experience in sustainable mobility, road safety, and consumer rights. Laurianne has built a strong career in membership-led organisations, starting at the Assembly of European Regions and later joining the European Mobility Clubs (FIA Region I), where she served as Director General from 2017 until 2025. She holds a Master’s degree in Political Sciences specialising in EU policies, as well as a Master II in Interregional Cooperation, and is based at the ECF office in Brussels, Belgium. The European Cyclists’ Federation promotes cycling as a cornerstone of a sustainable, healthy, and inclusive mobility system. Together with its members, national cycling organisations, and the ECF team, ECF combines strong advocacy at EU level with hands-on delivery through EU-funded projects, the development of the EuroVelo cycling route network, and the organisation of the flagship Velo-city conference series. By connecting policy, practice, and people, ECF supports the exchange of knowledge across countries and cities and ensures that the needs of cyclists are clearly represented in European decision-making.
